Professional mentorship with Dr. Carlin is intended for new physical therapy graduates or experienced clinicians who are interested in professional development in areas of clinical decision making/differential diagnostics, improvement of manual therapy skills, career path guidance, and business mentorship. Dr. Carlin has extensive training through the Institute of Clinical Excellence in spine management, treatment of the pregnant/postpartum athlete, chronic pain management, and treatment of the fitness athlete. She offers her mentees perspective and guidance in career development from her more than 13 years of clinical experience including working for a large outpatient orthopedic practice, and also from founding and running a successful out-of-network PT practice since 2018.
